EON Systems offers EHR software for chiropractors and physical therapists. Their chiropractic software consists of an appointment scheduler, billing module and report generator. When we contacted the company to inquire about their product, we were initially told the complete system retails for around $5,880.00 plus $120 per month for support and updates.

When we seemed disinterested in purchasing their software and were about to end the call, the sales representative Bambi then told us about a special they have for doctors with less than 300 patients. The special price was around $4,600 not including support. When we questioned Bambi as to why she didn't explain the special price when we first contacted her, she stated that she forgot about it. It's always a good idea when speaking to a sales representative to ask them what their best price is. More often than not, they are able to further discount any prices that may have been initially quoted. For complete and detailed information, visit EON Systems Office Software for Chiropractic. Title: Best Software for Chiropractors!

We had a large handful of demonstrations from several software companies before deciding to go with Eon's The Digital Office. What ultimately decided it for us was the customization that was available with their software. We were able to only purchase the parts we needed to start and were able to buy the additional features as we needed them. We did have a few issues at the start but their support department worked with us and we were able to determine that the issues we were running into were related to our network. At that point their support people worked WITH our IT guy and we got the problems fixed and haven't run into it again. Them working with our IT guy to fix it was really the wow factor for me. In the past I would have just been told it was our IT guys problem and that was that. A company that takes care of their customers speaks volumes to me! I will say that the one downside for me was the setup for the software, it was more involved than the other software I had, but their sales people were very upfront with us about that from the start. And it ended up being totally worth it because the system works exactly the way we wanted it to. The doctor is very happy with it as she is able to do a note in a matter of minutes and the documentation is 100% the way she wanted it. We all couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Eon.
Title: EON Digital Office is Frustratingly Non-Intuitive

There is really nothing I like or have been impressed with by this software. The demo looked pretty good when the representative was using it. The data being used during the demo had already been entered, so the flow looked better than it really is.

The Digital Office program suite is not at all intuitive or user-friendly. The endless pop-ups that always reset to an unusable default size and location are beyond frustrating. The text input fields are inconsistent, causing slow data entry. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

What I love about this program is the simplicity. Once you get the training it is very easy to use. Billing is a snap. The documenter which is part of The Digital Office is great for writing soap notes and narrative reports. When I first purchased The Digital Office I only purchased the the total practice solution and documenter. But now I am going to purchase the the third part which is the the document solution which is an amazing product because you can sore data and scan pictures, X-rays and what ever you want to do.

The only thing I can say about EON systems is their technical support. If you have a serious problem with any of the software it takes them a long time to respond. I waited for two days to respond. Also, if you live in the west coast, they are in the east coast and closed at 6 pm so that means that if you have a problem after 3 pm then you have to wait the next day, that's if they respond to you.
Title: Not Truly Integrated

I purchased the entire, very expensive, suite hoping for a true integrated EMR solution. My wife and I are fairly tech savvy and after 3 months of online training, we decided to dump their cryptic billing scheduling module, rather than waste anymore of our time trying to make a system work that requires way too many steps and work-arounds to do even the simplest tasks. The salesman promised us they were rewriting the entire package in a modern language and would be out by the end of the year. That was 2011.

We never got the EHR module working for more than a day, because it crashed constantly and required constant tech support to get it working again. Otherwise it looked like a pretty nice module. I actually liked the Documentor module, even though it is not a true EMR solution but a fancy word processor. It is very customizable but came only with a certain templates that didn't work for me - many of which were for completely other professions and I had to build out my own and significant effort. Not to mention that the suite is not truly integrated. It is three software programs running separately that have communication interfaces. The user look and feel of each program is different, even the basic way patient lists are managed is different. I used Documentor alone for almost a year before dropping it also.
Title: Horrible product and even worse customer service!!!

The system crashes at least 3-6 times per day which makes it impossible to run a successful business with system crashes occurring repeatedly. Worse yet is that the system doesn't save any work you have done before crashing therefore the very lengthy initial examinations which are entered may crash in the middle causing you to have to start the process all over again. As previous reviewers have noted the customer service is terrible!! With each crash, they want to put blame on the internet provider but our internet service is faster and more stable than our other office which runs a different software program and doesn't crash.

I have voiced my concerns many times to the upper management and each time they say a fix is in the works which hasn't happened. The program is not compatible with Windows 8 at all contrary to what the salesman noted. I continually am calling the office asking what the status is as far as a fix or refund and they keep stalling with no answer.

I am in the process of trying to get my money back and unfortunately this may turn a bit messy with attorneys and the like. Stay away from this company if you can help it. This has been a nightmare!!!
