ChiroTouch offers EHR software for chiropractors. The latest release, ChiroTouch Version 5.2,
has received complete ONC-ATCB certification. This certification is required in
order to receive Medicare Meaningful Use incentives. Chiropractors interested in obtaining these incentives are required by law to use a certified EHR software.
ChiroTouch is designed for offices with one to twenty-five providers. It is a full practice management solution that combines electronic health records, chiropractic billing, patient scheduling, outcomes assessments, and inventory management in a single, integrated suite. The EHR has custom templates for chiropractors, along with image management, dynamic SOAP notes, and real-time patient flow with room management capabilities. The EHR provides lab integration and wireless support, and can be used on a PC or on an iPad through the CTProvider iPad app.
ChiroTouch's billing application features eligibility inquiry, claim scrubbing, automated batch posting, DME billing, workers’ compensation billing, and other capabilities. The scheduling application has appointment reminders, room scheduling, patient messaging, and a patient portal. The entire system is HIPAA compliant. Be sure to tell them that ChiroMonkey.com sent you!
ChiroTouch is a fully capable hybrid chiropractic software system with extended web capabilities through MyChiroTouch.com and other mobility apps for providers and patients. Chiropractors can send text and email reminders to patients, while patients can use the system to fill out intake and outcomes assessment forms online before their office visit. This feature saves time for both the doctor and the patient. The last time we checked, the complete ChiroTouch system ran approximately $15,000 which may not be feasible for most chiropractors, especially new doctors or those with smaller practices. We encourage you to contact them to discuss pricing or financing options that may be available. Overall, this is a very solid product that should serve the needs of most chiropractors. To learn more about ChiroTouch software, we recommend visiting them on the web. They also offer a free demo of their software. Be sure to tell them that ChiroMonkey.com sent you!

Title: Disappointed

One of my biggest issues with companies in general, including Chirotouch is over promising and under delivering. When they pitch their products, you see nothing but amazement; then you sign the contract, and now you get treated like a little child who is not listening to their parent. Sure, ChiroTouch has amazing features, but unless you ask the question correctly, the answer may be incomplete. When asked if this is cloud based and you can log in from everywhere, the answer is yes, what they fail to mention until after you sign the contract is that the server is in your clinic, and there is so many hoops to go through to use tablets or computers off site - adding to the cost of setting up Remote Login. When you reach out to customer service for support, they give you a link or refer you to their massively big web community to go search, study, watch video and figure out what to do yourself.
Does Chirotouch have a potential of being a great system, sure, and it does have some neat feature, but then they all do! The problem is once you sign that contract, that "wow" sales pitch factor seems like it is a whole different operation

I am not sure at this point what I would do with out chirotouch and I do not want to think about it. Support quality has waxed and waned over the years but with out them I would not be where I am now in my practice- Rick is awesome as well as most of the others ! Advanced scheduler - multiple macro sets that I can use for different patients and retention reports and tools like email and text reminders. A true all in one program and we love it.

Helps office run more soothly and accurately. Easier to schedule and track patient appointments than what we used to use. Automatic electronic payments from insurance. Automatic text and email reminders so we don't have to call everyone any more. Since we switched everything runs better. Their support is very helpful and love them
Title: Poor support for an expensive system

Once I purchased the software, I was bombarded with emails telling me to let them know when I went live. Little did I know that as soon as I clicked I was live, my initial training sessions ended. It was nice, as a new office, to have low monthly payments to buy the software, but when the first year is over and the payments go up, the technical support goes away - as does your access to MyCommunity so that I cannot log in and create new or update existing emails through the system, including patient visit reminders. I cannot access a user guide. I cannot even update or change the services I subscribe to or billing methods.
I suppose the justification for the high cost of yearly support is so they can continue updating the system, but if you're a cash office as I am, this system is over qualified. Plus, it seems like I'm nickle and dimed to death as each additional service (online intake forms, patient reminders, backup etc) is an additional fee. I hate their intake form, the only service I like and use is the reminders, but I can't save any money subscribing to just one service because they are bundled. Having their backup service is probably useless without tech support. I did well without support for 2 years, then I moved my office to a new location. I'm having so much difficulty connecting my ipads so that I can use the apps, and because my static ip address changed, my patients can no longer use the online scheduling feature. I've called for help, and was told they are now only responsible for connecting one office computer to chirotouch. If Derek was to help me with anything beyond that he "would be dinged because the calls are monitored." I will need to pay for support for them to help me with these basic functions - unless I bring in my own local IT person...but we still won't be able to update online scheduling without access to mychirotouch.com.
"Well, this is how we get paid" says Derek. So, obviously this is a company who has a culture of not taking care of the customer. $12,000 to purchase + $100/mo in subscribed services won't go far with this company. Plan an additional $1,200-$1,400/year to have full availability to basic features.

I love using Chirotouch to schedule our patients. It does the job efficiently and accordingly to each doctor's preferences. It makes my job so much easier when I can see each doctor's schedule and manage each patient's appointment times. Not only does it show me all the doctor's appointments, it also gives me that specific patient's information and what types of accommodations the patient might need when they come in for treatment.

This past year our practice switched to Chirotouch upon recommendation from our previous software provider who was withdrawing from the chiropractic software market. We are grateful for the training we did receive, and find the system fairly simple to navigate. The Chirotouch Community is especially helpful in finding answers. Our very low Client Support rating is due to many unreturned calls, management run-arounds, and financial communications that still have not been resolved since we purchased the software in March, 2016. Further, training requirements and deadlines were not clearly explained or emphasized, causing us to have to finish our training on our own. We are a people-oriented, organized, systematic practice, and have been disappointed by the lack of communication, response, and help we have received when reaching out. As a system, Chirotouch is valuable and beneficial to a chiropractic practice, however, from a service-centered point of view, they have done very poorly. We feel that we would recommend this product if you are willing to feel like a number in a big system.

I have been using chirotouch in my practice for over 5 years now. My
practice has easily tripled because of it. Billing insurance, taking
patient notes, and making care plans has become seamless with their
software. We couldn't be happier!
